Weathered is a Game Jam submissions winner for the UNT Game Development Game Jam. The basic premise of the game is about a little fox that gathers materials and equipment to survive a storm that happens every night, while searching for a fabled fruit the help cure his sick brother. The game was made in less than a week and was developed my a small group of 4 people. The goal of the project was to capture an atmosphere using a 2.5D art style inspired by the likes of Paper Mario.
This was by far our most polished game jam project visually, I took a dominant role in this project as both our lead developer but also our gameplay designer, after the games submissions we decided to return to it and polish it further with bug fixes and several playtests.
